Features Appearances by Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott, America’s Top Race Car Drivers

Placerville, Calif. (Tuesday, January 31, 2023) – A visit by NASCAR Cup Series Champions Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott highlight an evening of excitement during the grand opening festivities of The Apex at Red Hawk Resort + Casino on February 2.

Larson, originally from Elk Grove, Ca., and huge local favorite, and Elliott, the reigning five-time Most Popular Driver as voted by race fans, will race against a select group of local residents in The Apex’s brand new three-level, indoor go-kart track. Fans can continue to qualify for a chance to race against Larson and Elliott through Wednesday of this week. Visit redhawkcasino.com for details. Also, fans will be able to view the racers as they warm up and get photos. The Larson/Elliott appearance is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. as part of The Apex’s grand opening event. The event is free and open to the public.

Red Hawk Casino Construction Projects Progressing

150 Room Hotel, Indoor Karting, Bowling and More Coming Soon to El Dorado County

Placerville, Calif. (Friday, June 17, 2022) Red Hawk Casino celebrated the “topping off” of the hotel construction with a special ceremony today, Friday, June 17, 2022. The “topping off” of a construction project highlights when the final and top floor of the project has the final piece of steel placed. Construction on the interior of the hotel will continue, with an anticipated opening in late 2022.

 

The hotel and entertainment complex project is the first major expansion of Red Hawk Casino since its opening in 2008. The nearly 120,000 square foot hotel will feature five stories, with 150 deluxe guest rooms, including 25 suites. Guests will also enjoy a stunning outdoor terrace with a pool and fitness center.

Red Hawk Casino Supports the Grizzly Flats Community Center Fund with Donation

Placerville, Calif. (Monday, Nov. 1 2021) – Red Hawk Casino and the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians were excited to be a part of the Grizzly Flats Community Center Fundraiser at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021.

During the fundraiser, casino President and CEO Bryan deLugo presented two donations. The first donation was from the collection of slot tickets generously donated by casino guests totaling $4,870. The second donation from Red Hawk Casino and the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians included an additional $10,000. These donations bring the casino and tribal contributions to more than $150,000 in support provided to the community since the Caldor Fire started in August 2021.

Placerville, Calif. – (Monday, Aug. 23, 2021) – Red Hawk Casino and the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians have been working exhaustively to assist not only the dozens of casino employees and tribal members impacted and evacuated by the Caldor Fire in El Dorado County, but the community as well.

 

Red Hawk Casino and the Tribe are covering hotel accommodations for evacuated team members and guests, and provided meals Wednesday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021 for more than 1,100 evacuees throughout El Dorado County. Additionally, the casino and Tribe arranged for the delivery of more than a dozen portable restrooms and mobile shower facilities to evacuation centers, along with chargers for electronic devices, toys and games for evacuated families with children, pillows, sleeping bags, towels and more.
