    Melody has been part of the Red Hawk Team since opening in 2008.  She has over 25 years of management and guest service experience and a passion for people.  Melody is a strong leader and is passionate about developing her team of exceptional hosts.  Her host team works seamlessly together to provide the highest level of customer service.  Her previous Red Hawk roles include managing the Call Center, Guest Service programs and Players Club.

    Melody enjoys cooking, entertaining, wine tasting and travelling and enjoys spending time with her husband, extended family and four beloved cats – Cello, Tenor, Trio and Blues.

  • Lawrence “LT” Taylor

    LT joined Red Hawk Casino in 2008 as part of the opening team.  He has more than 18 years of casino guest service and event planning experience.  Prior to joining Red Hawk he was with the Harrah’s organization as both a Rewards Club manager and Executive Casino Host. With his outgoing personality, professionalism and attention to detail, he is a natural in the role of Executive Casino Host.

    LT is a Sacramento native, where he attended Christian Brothers High School. LT enjoys attending sporting events, jazz concerts and golfing, as well as entertaining family and friends at home.

    Khanh Van “Kay” Castellon was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam. In addition to her casino marketing background as an Asian Executive Casino Host, Kay’s broad experience includes a position as secretary at the Norwegian Embassy and as Deputy Director of Hotel Operations, both in Hanoi. Kay has a pleasant demeanor and natural compassion for each and every guest.

    She enjoys travelling to international destinations, but also loves exploring Sacramento and surrounding areas.  Kay is passionate about dining and sampling new and unique foods.

    Kay speaks English and Vietnamese, along with some Mandarin and Norwegian.

    Cindy began her career at Red Hawk Casino as a Players’ Club Representative. After a year of providing outstanding customer service, she seamlessly moved into the role of Casino Host. She is innovative in her approach to providing the very best guest service to all customers at Red Hawk Casino.

    Cindy is pursuing a degree at California State University, Sacramento.  When not at work or at school, Cindy enjoys shopping and travelling with friends and family.

    Cindy speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

    Joy’s welcoming demeanor, outgoing personality and previous experience in management are the perfect combination. She successfully interacts with a variety of guests on a daily basis and her pleasant and smiling conversations are always appreciated by guests at Red Hawk.

    Joy’s hobbies include billiards, shopping and shoe collecting, foreign films and spending time at the beach.  She also has a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

    Joy is fluent in English and Korean.

    Stella is passionate about welcoming new guests, as well as ensuring that our frequent guests are completely satisfied with their experience at Red Hawk.  Her enthusiasm and creativity make her a natural in the role of Casino Host.  Stella’s prior roles at Red Hawk include Rewards Club Representative and Promotions Coordinator.

    Stella is an avid sports fan and she and her family are supporters of youth sports in Folsom.  She is active in the Folsom community and has been on the Board of Directors for Folsom Youth Sports, and served as President of the Folsom Middle School PTA.

    Stella is fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Gloria Lopez

    Gloria is a Red Hawk Casino opening team member and provides excellent service to each of her guests.  Before joining Red Hawk, Gloria was a licensed insurance agent and trainer. Her extensive experience providing guest satisfaction has made her an asset to the Red Hawk Team.

    Gloria enjoys spending time with her family going to movies, enjoying the outdoors, attending concerts and numerous sporting events.

    Gloria is fluent in English and Spanish.

    Brad is a familiar face to many Red Hawk Casino guests.  He was a Rewards Club Supervisor since opening in 2008, and was recently promoted to Casino Host.  Prior to joining Red Hawk, Brad ran a family business in Placerville for 30 years.  He is well respected in the community for his business expertise and excellent customer service. He treats all his guests like family, one of the many reasons for his success at Red Hawk. Brad knows and appreciates the value of guest satisfaction and goes above and beyond to exceed the expectations of all Red Hawk Casino guests.

    Brad spends his free time working on home improvements, gardening and tinkering with anything related to technology.  Brad enjoys spending time with his family and new grandson.

  • Jay Saelee

    As a Rewards Club Representative, Jay Saelee was successful in assisting and getting to know many of our guests.  Jay expanded his casino knowledge by working with our Promotions and Motor Coach teams. As a Casino Host, Jay is committed to providing excellent customer service and is diligent in addressing the needs of Red Hawk Casino guests.

    Jay graduated from UC Davis in 2009 with a double major in Economics and Communications, and continues to take classes to further his education.  Jay enjoys travelling abroad, fishing, playing poker and trying new foods.

    Jay is fluent in English and Mien.

    James joined Red Hawk Casino in 2010 and has been both a Rewards Club representative and VIP Services Representative.  With his outgoing and friendly personality, James is a favorite among our guests.  Prior to joining Red Hawk, James and his family owned and operated a very successful Chinese restaurant.  This experience makes James a natural at providing exceptional guest service and at exceeding guests’ expectations.

    James enjoys fishing, playing basketball, football and ping-pong.

    James is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese.

  • Tyrel Blankenship

    Tyrel joined the Red Hawk team in February 2010 where he enjoyed pampering his guests while serving them at Henry's Steakhouse. Tyrel has great knowledge in food and wine and enjoys making recommendations to improve guests experiences while dining and gaming.  His professional attention to detail and youthful energy while attending to guests make him a perfect fit as a Casino Host. Tyrel’s goal is to continue developing relationships with our guests and provide the best service possible. Prior to working at Red Hawk, Tyrel excelled as both a restaurant manager and assistant golf pro.

    Tyrel was born and raised in Shingle Springs and lives in the Placerville with his wife, 4 daughters and 1 son. Tyrel is a recent graduate from Sacramento State with a double bachelor's degree in History and Social Science.
